The Nagasaki Peace Memorial Park, this Bonsai tree survived the the "Fat Boy" atomic bomb which unleashed a 600mph blast surge and temperatures in excess of 7000 degres fahrenheit. Thge following spring this tree produced new shoots and continued to grow although it was a short walk from impact point ground zero. A wonder of nature
