The Highlands of Scotland
The highlands of Scotland remain one of the most magnificent and magic unspoilt wilderness in the world.
For so many people they remain virtually on their doorstep and yet shamefully they continue to stay low on many peoples 'must visit' lists.
The drama which can unfold round every corner through both weather conditions and natural light make them a wonderful subject for photography.
My own library has been collected over many years of traveling and working in the highlands and I have never yet tired of the excitment and wonder of this vast and majestic wilderness throughout its seasons,be it the harshness of winter or the continuous daylight in mid summer.
If you have never visited the highlands then in my opinion you are missing one of the greatest wonders of this world.
