The Greek Island of Mykonas
Mykonas is a wonderful island in the Aegean Sea it is visually very beautiful and consequently a great place to spend time with a camera. The narrow streets and the many domed churches and the windmills are a particular feature of this island.
It is just a great place to wander, people watching sitting with a cup of coffee at one of the many harbour-side cafes. The island seems to attract many young people and the shops reflect this with many fashion shops and jewellery shops to visit. I am told the nightlife is legendary and I can well believe it! It is known as the Ibiza of Greece.
The main town is a characteristic sample of Cycladic architecture, with white washed sugarhouses and cobbled streets.
