Alaska
America’s 49th state more than 580,000 sq miles is so broad, so unpeopled, and so road-less that travel is mainly either by boat or small airplanes. It is the last wild frontier a place on earth where nature is still very much in control in this raw, wondrous wilderness.
You have a sense that this is a pristine untouched and unchanged corner of our world simple because it is so vast no one person has ever seen it all and no one person ever will, it is the last wild frontier a wonderful wild place.
I have promised myself that I will return to Alaska at some point in the future with my cameras and endeavour to capture more of the raw beauty of this quiet remarkable wilderness.
